In 2025, VHACF awarded more than $10,000 in grants to organizations serving the greater Vadnais Heights community and scholarships to two graduating seniors.

Some of the organizations and projects we supported this year included:

–Northern Starz Theater Company used VHACF funds to bring The Penguin Project to White Bear Lake. The Penguin Project is an organization with the vision of bringing unrestricted access to the performing arts for people with special needs.

–Hammer & NER (Northeast Residences) secured a VHACF grant to supplement their Quality of Life fund, which provides opportunities for field trips and extra enrichment activities for residents living in group homes.

–White Bear Area Food Shelf received a grant from VHACF for KidPacks, which provide supplemental meals and snacks for kids over the weekend, when breakfast and lunch at school are not available.

–The White Bear Center for the Arts used a VHACF grant for the 10th annual High School Visual Arts Contest and Juried Exhibition.

–The White Bear Lake Black Student Union at White Bear Lake Area High School received a VHACF grant to support a tour of historically black colleges and universities.

–The Vadnais Heights Lions Club requested and was awarded VHACF funding to support their annual food and toy drive which provides assistance around the holidays to area families.

–Northeast Youth and Family Services received a VHACF grant to provide professional and peer support to parents of neurodivergent children.

 

These are just some of the organizations that Vadnais Heights Area Community Foundation was able to support this year. With your help, we can continue to strengthen the community even more in 2026!
